Tips When Buying a Fresh Import Car
1. Check the oil – Ensure the oil level and quality are good. Fresh imports may have been sitting for a while, so an oil change might be needed.
2. Check all fluids – This includes coolant, transmission fluid, power steering fluid, brake fluid, etc. Make sure they are at the correct levels.
3. Inspect belts and hoses – Look for any cracks, wear, or signs of aging.
4. Test the lights – Ensure all headlights, brake lights, indicators, and interior lights are working properly.
5. Listen for unusual noises – Start the car and pay attention to any strange sounds from the engine, brakes, or suspension.
